After the latest rankings updates from other recruiting services, Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine Military School quarterback Luke Kromenhoek is now a five-star prospect in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Kromenhoek, a Florida State commit, is now the No. 31 overall prospect in the cycle and is one of 32 five-star prospects in the class. He’s also now the No. 5 QB and No. 7 player in Georgia. The 6-foot-3.5, 190-pounder committed to the Seminoles all the way back on March 26, 2022.

“It’s very close to my home, my parents can come and visit easily and they can come to all the games that was a big part,” Kromenhoek told On3. “I really like the coaching staff. Every time I’ve been down there, they’ve rolled out the red carpet. I really like the future of the program is going. I think they’re on their way back up to the top where they should be.”

Kromenhoek is now one of three five-stars in Florida State’s 2024 recruiting class, which ranks No. 7 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Ranking. He joins Buford (Ga.) Five-Star Plus+ safety KJ Bolden and Venice (Fla.) cornerback Charles Lester III at the top for Mike Norvell and the Seminoles.

Kromenhoek has an On3 NIL Valuation of $469K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Luke Kromenhoek Scouting Summary

“Toolsy, strong-armed passer with some of the best physical attributes among quarterbacks in the 2024 cycle. One of the taller quarterbacks in the group with a prototypical build at 6-foot-3.5, 190 pounds with a 9.5-inch hand. Shows a very live arm on Friday nights and in the camp setting. Backed that up in the camp setting, where he showed one of the strongest arms at the Elite 11 Finals. Flashes a quick, natural release, generating considerable velocity with ease. Rips throws down the middle of the field on a line. Had several passes travel over 50 yards in the air as a junior. Can stretch secondaries with his arm strength. Delivers some nice passes on the on rollouts to his right and left. A good athlete at the position. Ran a 4.73 second 40-yard dash at the Elite 11 regional prior to his senior year. Shows very encouraging reactive quickness and burst as a mover in evading the pass rush.

…Has upside as a runner with his quickness and speed and can pick up chunks of yards once at the second level. Unlike most other top 2024 quarterbacks, was a first-year starter as a junior, leading his team to a state title. Completed 65 percent of his passes for 2,576 yards and 24 touchdowns against 3 interceptions, while rushing for 453 yards and 7 scores. Played wide receiver and safety while backing up Auburn signee Holden Geriner as a sophomore. Can stand to improve his overall consistency and will likely see the game continue to slow down for him with more in-game reps. Older for the class, turning 19 years-old in January of his senior year. Has one of the higher upsides in the murky 2024 quarterback class.”
