Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Stranahan five-star wide receiver and Florida State commit Hykeem Williams attended the Seminoles’ win over Georgia Tech on Saturday. He returned to Tallahassee on Sunday, and continued recruiting prospects to Florida State.

Williams was recently spotted with Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep four-star athlete Edwin Joseph. A day before, he talked with Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater five-star running back and Texas commit Cedric Baxter Jr. on his official visit.

“I wanted him to see it for himself and feel it,” Williams told Michael Langston of Warchant about Joseph. “I didn’t want to be all on him all the time. I wanted him to feel the vibe when he was here. I really talk with Edwin the most. but I really want Cedric Baxter, you know. I just tell them feel the vibe. It’s real. It’s home.”

Williams is the No. 27 overall prospect and No. 4 wide receiver in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 7 player in Florida.

The 6-foot-2.5, 215 pound wideout is the highest-rated prospect in the Seminoles’ 2023 recruiting class. Florida State’s group is currently No. 17 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 3 in the ACC.

Williams has an On3 NIL Valuation of $229K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
