Florida State added quarterback Brock Glenn, who signed with the team on the December signing day. He’s a player that has Mike Norvell and the Seminoles excited about the future. He was an important player for Florida State, flipping to the team from Ohio State in November.

Mike Norvell praised Brock Glenn in a press conference following National Signing Day.

“I think he’s the total package, unbelievable talent,” Mike Norvell said. “I’ve known of him and known him for a long time.”

“It was a hard choice for Brock in December. He had a lot of people that were coming after him. He took multiple official visits. You know, I was very confident in the relationship that was built, but just like a lot of — a lot of new kids that go through the process, they want to see some of the things that you’ve talked about, and some of the things that you’ve presented,” Mike Norvell said.

“And you know, just to be able to see themselves in that situation, and the schools that he committed to has had a lot of success at his position, and just overall as a team.”

Brock Glenn is a three-star recruit from the Class of 2023. He’s out of Memphis, Tennessee, where Mike Norvell coached prior to coming to Florida State. He is the number 26 quarterback and the 444th overall prospect nationally, according to the On3 Consensus.

Brock Glenn on why he flipped to Florida State

When he chose to flip to Florida State, Brock Glenn explained his decision.

“First off I want to start by saying I have the utmost respect for Ohio State and their entire staff. They are all great people and obviously great coaches at a top program. I enjoyed getting to know the entire staff and all of the commits, and I’m thankful for the opportunity they gave me,” Brock Glenn said.

“I’ve always liked Florida State since my recruiting process began, and then they had the season they’ve had and it opened my eyes a lot. I think everyone sees what Coach Norvell is building. He is an outstanding coach and an even better person. Just getting the opportunity to be coached by him and be a part of what he is building there is something I can’t pass up.”
