2023 TE Chiddi Obiazor commits to Kansas State

Eden Prairie (Minn.) tight end Chiddi Obiazor has committed to Kansas State.

The 2023 Wildcats recruiting class now features 10 commits and ranks 52nd in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.

Obiazor joins Wichita (Kan.) Kapaun Mt Carmel Catholic three-star tight end Will Anciaux as the tight end verbals in the class. Anciaux is the No. 1139 overall recruit and No. 59 tight end in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

The class itself is led by Maize (Kan.) four-star quarterback Avery Johnson.

Johnson currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $124k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
