Troup (Texas) four-star wide receiver Trae Davis has committed to Kansas State. He chose the Wildcats following his decommitment from Washington State on Nov. 13.

Davis is the No. 471 overall prospect and No. 76 WR in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3 ranks Davis higher than other recruiting services, as he checks in as the No. 278 player in the On300.

K-State got Davis to Manhattan for an official visit on Nov. 10, just before his decommitment from Wazzou. Chris Klieman and Co. offered Davis the week following his pledge to the Cougars on Sept. 27.

“It was a great experience and I loved it a lot,” Davis told K-State Online. “My favorite part of the visit was when I walked by the student section and they all knew my name and who I was. I know for sure that the students at K-State love the team and the players.”
