Lee’s Summit (Mo.) North offensive tackle Cayden Green has locked in his fifth official visit and will head to LSU June 10-12, he announced Monday evening.

Green is the No. 72 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 7 offensive tackle and the No. 2 junior prospect in Missouri.

The Tigers replace Miami, which was expected to get the visit and was recently in his top schools list. The Hurricanes were joined by Nebraska, Oklahoma, Michigan and Missouri, each of which he has scheduled an official with.

But LSU’s pursuit, led by offensive line coach Brad Davis, has gotten the Tigers into the mix.

Oklahoma leading right now for Cayden Green

As it stands now, the Sooners are overwhelming favorites to land him, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. It gives OU 94.9 percent chance of securing his commitment.

Green has a strong relationship with Oklahoma offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh, who elected not to follow head coach Lincoln Riley to USC. He tripped last weekend to Nebraska. And he will see OU (June 3-5), Michigan (June 10-12) and Missouri (June 24-26) in addition to his trip to Baton Rouge.
