2022 CB Gavin Gibson commits to Maryland over Virginia
Mooresville (N.C.) William Amos Hough cornerback Gavin Gibson has committed to Maryland.
He chose the Terrapins over Virginia. Gibson was previously committed to Navy.
The Terrapins now have 13 commits in their recruiting class, which ranks just outside the top 50 in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.
He joins Tallahassee (Fla.) James Rickards three-star cornerback Lionell Whitaker and Severn (Md.) Archbishop Spalding three-star safety Lavain Scruggs as the defensive back commits in the recruiting class.
