North Carolina transfer DL Kedrick Bingley-Jones commits to Mississippi State

Former North Carolina defensive lineman Kedrick Bingley-Jones has committed to Mississippi State after entering the NCAA transfer portal.

Bingley-Jones spent the first four seasons of his collegiate career with the Tar Heels, recording seven total tackles and a tackle for loss in his UNC career. He joins Mississippi State with two years of eligibility remaining, providing another big body on there defensive line at 6-foot-4, 305 pounds.

Bingley-Jones played high school football at Charlotte (NC) Providence Day School, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 140 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
