Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College offensive tackle Jayven Richardson has committed to Missouri.

The 6-foot-6, 315-pound JUCO prospect announced on Thanksgiving that he’s headed to Columbia to join a Tigers class that ranks inside the top 30 of the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

He also held offers from the likes of Auburn and Mississippi State. Richardson recently took an official visit to Mizzou and now becomes the latest Hutchinson C.C. product to wind up at an SEC program.

Richardson is the No. 17 overall JUCO recruit and No. 3 offensive tackle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He does not currently have an On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Mizzou growing 2024 recruiting class

Eli Drinkwitz’s pledge list is all centered around Lee’s Summit (Mo.) North Five-Star Plus+ EDGE Williams Nwaneri, On3’s No. 1 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle. He committed to the Tigers on Aug. 14, becoming one of the program’s highest-ranked commits ever.

“It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made,” Nwaneri said of choosing Mizzou. “But I had to do what was best for me. Really, I felt like I was most comfortable with that coaching staff. It’s close to home and all that, so I felt like it was the right decision for me at the time.”

Richardson now slots in as Mizzou’s No. 2 recruit in its 2024 cycle, as the Baton Rouge (La.) native holds a grade of 90.61. He becomes the third offensive lineman in the Tigers’ class, joining Washington (Mo.) three-star OT Ryan Jostes and Nevada (Mo.) three-star IOL Talan Chandler — who flipped to Mizzou from Colorado on Nov. 19.

“The University of Missouri has always been my dream school and I never thought I would have the opportunity to stay HOME,” Chandler wrote in his flip announcement. “This opportunity was recently offered to me and after careful consideration and prayer, this is an opportunity that I have to take for me and my family.”

Other top commits for the Tigers include: Jonesboro (Ark.) Valley View four-star linebacker Brian Huff, Collierville (Tenn.) three-star quarterback Aidan Glover, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas three-star wide receiver James Madison II and Panama City (Fla.) A. Crawford Mosley three-star cornerback Cameron Keys.
