In the tweet, Luther Burden asked fans to go to Schnucks and grab a new bag of chips. There, they can grab a bag of LB3 Chips with his likeness on them.

Luther Burden is playing with a chip on his shoulder and now Missouri fans can go and enjoy chips with his name and face on them, thanks to NIL.

A five-star recruit in the Class of 2022, Luther Burden was the top wide receiver recruit in his year. In his freshman season, he had 38 receptions for 329 yards and five touchdowns. Burden had another two rushing touchdowns. On top of all that, he also returned a punt for a touchdown.

Luther Burden has an On3 NIL Valuation of $326,000. While that doesn’t land him on the On3 NIL 100, he is 110th in NIL value among college football athletes. Part of the value comes from his social media presence, where Burden has 68,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. This gives him an On3 Per Post Value of $759.

About On3’s NIL Valuation

The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that sets the projected annual value, or PAV, for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm is used by On3, drawing data points from a player’s performance, influence, and exposure.

It’s also important to remember that the On3 NIL Valuation is not a deal tracker. On3 has a NIL deal tracker, which is its own tool. Instead, the On3 NIL Valuation looks to set optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the NIL market for up to 12 months in the future.
