Marietta (Ga.) Kell four-star center Peyton Marshall has committed to Missouri, he told On3.

The 7-foot, 310-pound rising senior originally committed to Auburn in December, before reopening his recruitment in April. He also received offers from Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Xavier, NC State, Providence, Maryland, Ohio State, and others.

Marshall ranks as the No. 67 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 9 center in the class and the No. 7 player in Georgia.

He joins fellow commits four-star small forward Marcus Allen (No. 52) and three-star combo guard commitment T.O. Barrett (No. 126).

Marshall goes in-depth on his commitment

Marshall spoke to On3 and discussed his decision to choose the Tigers.

“I chose Mizzou because I feel like the system that they use will help me show my game for the next level and also get me ready for it because of how they play,” he said. “Also because of the consistency in recruiting from the entire staff.”

In his own words, what type of player is Mizzou getting in Peyton Marshall?

“I would say I’m a traditional big man who’s good on both ends of the floor with outstanding passing ability.”

He has a message for the fan base.

“I’m coming, get ready!”
