Another player from an SEC men’s basketball program that underperformed the season is off to find a new home for next season. On3 has learned that former Missouri Tigers shooting guard Curt Lewis has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Lewis started his collegiate career at Eastern Kentucky, committing to the Colonels as a part of the 2019 class. He spent three years on campus after redshirting his freshman year but ultimately decided to leave Eastern Kentucky and transfer to John A. Logan Junior College in Illinois. After one year there, he decided to join Dennis Gates‘ Missouri men’s basketball program.

Last season with the Tigers, Lewis only played in 23 of their 32 games, starting in two of them. He averaged just under 10 minutes of action per contest and scarcely registered on the Tigers’ stat line. Lewis’s time in Missouri concluded with him averaging just two points per contest to go along with 1.4 rebounds.
