East St. Louis (Ill.) offensive lineman Paris Patterson will visit Missouri this weekend as part of the Tigers’ junior day weekend, he announced on Thursday.

Patterson is the No. 510 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 38 offensive lineman and the No. 9 junior prospect in Illinois.

The 6-foot-4, 374-pounder doesn’t currently hold an offer from the Tigers, but does have them from Tennessee, Nebraska, Iowa State, Miami (Ohio) and Western Michigan. Patterson is fresh off a visit to Nebraska last weekend and tripped to both Tennessee and Alabama in January.

Missouri currently has offers out to eight interior offensive lineman in the 2023 cycle, but according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Tigers aren’t currently favored to land any of them. Paris Patterson, meanwhile, could be an intriguing target for Eliah Drinkwitz and Co.

Missouri is heavily entrenched with the East St. Louis program, signing a number of players from there over the last decade. That includes Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Luther Burden, who inked with the Tigers in the 2022 class.

Missouri is also in pursuit of four-star East St. Louis offensive tackle Miles McVay, who is also expected to visit this weekend.
