NC State lands former Notre Dame OL Zeke Correll
Former Notre Dame offensive lineman Zeke Correll has committed to NC State via the transfer portal, he announced on Saturday. Correll is one of the top interior linemen who entered the transfer portal this cycle.
Correll played in 39 career games during five seasons at Notre Dame, becoming a centerpiece on the offensive line the last two seasons. He started at center 23 times in the last two seasons. Correll comes to NC State with one year of eligibility remaining.
The units that Correll has featured on have been strong, too. Both in 2022 and 2023, Notre Dame made the midseason honor roll for the Joe Moore Award, given annually to the nation’s best offensive line. Correll and the Notre Dame line were semifinalists for the award in 2023.
Correll played high school football at Anderson (Ohio) High School, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 99 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
