G.G. Jackson is a 6-foot-9 5 Star center in the class 2023 out of Ridge View High School in Columbia, SC. Jackson is the No.10 ranked player in the country. He is currently uncommitted but is considering North Carolina, South Carolina, Clemson, DePaul, and Duke.

Extreme Leaping Ability

At 6-9, Jackson has a 40 inch vertical to get his head over the rim on every dunk attempt. His vertical doesn’t just aid him on offense but also the defensive end. He uses his long frame to disrupt offensive players with blocks and deflections. He often blocks shots at the top of the backboard and often pins opponents’ shots off the glass.

Guard like Handle

Even though Jackson is listed as a power forward, he can sometimes be positionless. In AAU playing for the CP3 elite, he would be seen handling the ball and even coming off-ball screens. Jackson can take the ball the length of the court and dribbles out of double teams to create shots for his teammates.

Energy and Effort

Energy and effort are two things that separate good players from great ones. Jackson plays with an extremely high motor that motivates him and his teammates to play hard every possession. Even though he is highly skilled, he will also do the little things. He will be the first person back on defense after a turnover, the first to dive on a loose ball to secure the possession, and the player who will go after and get every rebound.

NBA Comparison

Jeremi Grant is currently a small-forward playing for the Detroit Pistons. Grant is known as an energy and effort guy; a spark plug for every team. He has an electrifying athletic ability and is an elite rim runner. Both forwards play with non-stop motors. They also both set an example on the court with their hustle and team play.
