Denton (Texas) Guyer five-star safety Peyton Bowen is not only one of the top defensive backs in the 2023 cycle. He is also the crown jewel of Notre Dame‘s 2023 recruiting class.
Fighting Irish safeties coach Chris O’Leary recently visited Bowen. A photo of the two appeared on social media on Friday night.
Bowen is the No. 19 overall prospect and No. 2 safety in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Texas.
The 6-foot-0, 185 pound prospect is rated higher by On3 than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2023 On300, he is the No. 13 overall prospect and No. 2 player in Texas.
Bowen has an On3 NIL Valuation of $259K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
