WATCH: 2024 Notre Dame 4-star QB commit CJ Carr finds end zone on impressive touchdown run
2024 Saline (Mich) four-star quarterback CJ Carr faced an early 9-0 deficit against Hudsonville (Mich.) However, two rushing touchdowns from the Notre Dame commit gave the Hornets 14-9 lead. Carr’s first score included some impressive athleticism from the 6-foot-2.5, 195 pound signal-caller.
After taking the snap, Carr ran to his right and then spun around to avoid defenders. He then faked a pass and slipped past two defenders on his way to the end zone.
Carr is the No. 21 overall prospect and No. 5 quarterback in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Michigan.

The four-star committed to the Fighting Irish on June 9. He is currently the highest-rated-prospect in Notre Dame’s 2024 recruiting class, which currently contains six prospects.
Carr has an On3 NIL Valuation of $161K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Makes some improvisational plays.

Measured around 6-foot-2, 190 pounds prior to the 2022 season. Shows a good arm at this stage, but has room to add velocity to his intermediate throws as he continues to develop as a high school quarterback.”
