Gilbert (Az.) Williams Field wide receiver Kyler Kasper picked up an offer from Ohio State on Thursday, he announced on Twitter.

The 6-foot-5, 185-pound Kasper is the No. 214 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the industry-generated On3 Consensus. “After an awesome conversation with Brian Hartline I am extremely excited to have received an offer from The Ohio State University,” Kasper posted.

He has already picked up 18 offers, including Arizona, Arizona State, Michigan State, Notre Dame, USC, and Iowa, where his father played from 1997-2000.

As a junior this season Williams Field, Kyler Kasper has hauled in 32 passes for 654 yards and six touchdowns. Through a little less than two varsity seasons, he’s already amassed more 1,000 receiving yards.

Ohio State’s focus still remains largely on the 2022 class, where the Buckeyes have the No. 3 class in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings. But Ryan Day and Co. do already have one commit on board in 2023 with four-star tight end Ty Lockwood.
