Ohio State offers On3 No. 3 prospect Justin Scott
Ohio State has become the latest team to extend an offer to Chicago St. Ignatius five-star defensive lineman Justin Scott.
He also received an offer Monday from Auburn.
Scott is the No. 14 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
The 2024 On300 ranking has Scott ranked as the No. 3 player in the class and top defensive lineman.
Scott currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $110k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Notre Dame is the early favorite to land Scott, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Will need to continue developing from a technical aspect, particularly with his hands. Rapid ascension and quick improvement point to a high ceiling.
