4-star DL Johnny Bowens visiting Oklahoma
Converse (Texas) Judson four-star defensive lineman Johnny Bowens will be making a visit this weekend to Oklahoma.
Bowens is the No. 267 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $10.3k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
The Sooners have the seventh-ranked class in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking. Denton (Texas) Guyer five-star quarterback Jackson Arnold and Kansas City (Kan.) North Kansas City five-star EDGE Adepoju Adebawore headline the class.

Johnny Bowens was previously committed to Texas A&M before backing away from that pledge in June.
But the Aggies and Bowens have kept up the communication. As a result, Texas A&M is the heavy favorite to land Bowens, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
