Two weeks after landing an offer from the Oklahoma Sooners, heavily recruited athlete Moussa Kane has scheduled an unofficial visit to Norman.

Moussa Kane, who attends Blair Academy and is from New York, announced the March 5 visit Friday on social media. The visit will be his first to Oklahoma and is further evidence that the 6-foot-1, 192-pound athlete’s recruiting stock is on the rise.

Kane also has offers from Penn State, Rutgers, Clemson, Boston College, Wisconsin, Duke, Wake Forest, Ole Miss, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Purdue, Temple and Virginia Tech. Notre Dame and Ohio State are also recruiting him but have yet to offer.

Moussa Kane adds to big OU visit list

Moussa Kane was originally scheduled to visit Oklahoma in late January. But he was not able to make the visit for the Sooners’ junior day. Now he’s got the trip scheduled, and he’ll be on campus with a host of other elite prospects.

Some of the other big names set to be in Norman on March 5 include No. 1 running back Richard Young, No. 4 offensive tackle Cayden Green, No. 18 EDGE Adepoju Adebawore and many others. It’s expected to be another banner recruiting weekend for the Sooners. Oklahoma has the No. 7 recruiting class in the country with four early commits.

Moussa Kane is ranked as the No. 25 athlete in the country, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also is ranked as the No. 9 overall player in New Jersey.

Penn State is currently listed as the team to beat, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. The Nittany Lions have a 42.2% chance of landing him, the On3 RPM says. Local school Rutgers is listed second at 25.5% and Clemson is next at 13%. Oklahoma is at 4.5% at this point, but the Sooners’ chances are expected to climb after his visit next weekend.
