4-star DL Jamarious Brown reaffirms commitment to Ole Miss

Brown is the No. 270 overall prospect and No. 36 defensive lineman in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 5 player in Mississippi.
On3 rates Brown higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2023 On300, he is the No. 110 overall prospect, No. 12 defensive lineman and No. 2 player in Mississippi.

I also wanna thank the city and community of Moss Point. I have really enjoyed every year of football there. Ole Miss’ 2023 recruiting class is currently No. 19 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 9 in the SEC. Minutes before Brown’s announcement, head coach Lane Kiffin and his staff got a pledge from New Caney (Texas) four-star running back Kedrick Reescano.
A 6-foot-2, 270-pound recruit, Brown has an On3 NIL Valuation of $16.3K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes.
