There are a lot of things that head coach Lane Kiffin has become known for over the years, including his personality and explosive offenses. However, he’s also proven to be someone who will quickly move on from one job to the next. At five different teams where Kiffin was the head coach, four of which were in college and another that was in the NFL, he’s never spent more than 43 games at one spot.

If he can make it through six games in 2023, Lane Kiffin will actually beat that record that he’s set for himself for time spent at a head coaching job. Parrish Alford pointed this out on Twitter and Kiffin quote tweeted it with a joke about how things ended at USC.

You can look at Lane Kiffin’s joke about this stat on his career, here:

Along with a gif of an airplane taking off, Lane Kiffin joked, “Hopefully they keep me.”

This goes back to how things ended at USC for Lane Kiffin. After the fifth game of the 2013 season, USC fired him. However, they didn’t just fire him. They left him on the tarmac of LAX when they fired him.

Lane Kiffin claps back at Hugh Freeze

For a while, it looked like Lane Kiffin would be leaving Ole Miss for Auburn. However, in the end, Kiffin decided to stay with Ole Miss. This opened the door for Hugh Freeze to take the job.

It was a controversial hire for numerous reasons. One of which is how Freeze has used social media in the past. Because of that, it was reported that Auburn wouldn’t let Freeze control his own social media anymore.

Then, in his introductory press conference, Freeze took a shot at Ole Miss, saying he “leapfrogged” Ole Miss, his previous team. Kiffin took exception to that and responded on Twitter.

“I would tweet at you but I guess you aren’t allowed to respond by @AuburnFootball now,” Lane Kiffin tweeted.
