Allen Flanigan of Ole Miss was ejected on Saturday evening vs. South Carolina, after he threw an elbow to the face of South Carolina’s Zachary Davis. The play happened in the second half, officials reviewed it, and assessed Flanigan a Flagrant 2. That immediately ejected him from the game, and he headed to the locker room with 16:53 in the second half.

It’s likely that Flanigan will hear something from SEC officials about that one. Before he was ejected, Flanigan had 11 points, three rebounds, and two steals for Ole Miss. Davis has had an impressive game even after taking the nasty shot to the face, pouring in double digits for the Gamecocks.
