Ole Miss’ Brandon Murray has entered his name into the transfer portal.

This will be Murray’s fourth transfer in his college career to what will be his fourth different program. He started his career at LSU, transferred to Georgetown, and then came to Ole Miss for this past season.

In total, Murray has appeared in 83 career games, including 62 starts. Almost all of those came while with the Tigers in Baton Rouge and the Hoyas in Washington D.C.. During his time at his trio of schools, he has averaged 9.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.1 steals. He has also shot 40.6% from the field and 33.1% from three.

In 23 games as mostly a reserve in Oxford, Murray posted career lows at 4.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists while shooting 38.1% overall. He did hit a career-high at 35.7% from deep but it was on low volume at well under 0.5 makes from distance per game.

Murray, a Bradenton, Florida native, is a product out of IMG Academy. He was a four-star prospect there as the No. 80 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranked as a Top-20 SG and a Top-15 player out of Florida along with five teammates at IMG.

Murray was in the No. 27 recruiting class for LSU in 2021, which was the program’s final under Will Wade. He was the group’s second-highest rated recruit behind only Efton Reid, who he attended IMG Academy with and who also has transferred at least three times so far in college. They also came in along with Jerrell Colbert, Justice Williams, and Bradley Ezewiro. None of the five still remain in Baton Rouge under Matt McMahon.

Murray is now the sixth player to transfer from Ole Miss so far this offseason. He is in the portal alongside Moussa Cisse as well as Rashaud Marshall, Malique Ewin, Cameron Barnes, and Jacob Gazzo. Only Marshall has committed elsewhere to this point with him headed to Arkansas State.

In turn, Chris Beard has currently brought in four transfers out of the portal, all of which are forwards from across the country. The Rebels have added a pair of small forwards in Davon Barnes (Texas Southern, Sam Houston) and Dre Davis (Louisville, Seton Hall) as well as two power forwards in Malik Dia (Vanderbilt, Belmont) and Mikeal Brown-Jones (VCU, UNC Greensboro).
