4-star PF Rashaud Marshall recommits to Ole Miss Rebels
Rashaud Marshall, a four-star power forward in the 2023 class, has re-committed to Ole Miss, he announced on Monday. That comes less than a week after he decommitted from the Rebels.
The 6-foot-8 prospect out of Blytheville (Ark.) High originally committed and signed to former Ole Miss head coach Kermit Davis but requested to be released from his National Letter of Intent after Davis was fired.
The Rebels then hired former Texas head coach Chris Beard and Marshall re-committed to the program. After some back-and-forth, Marshall ultimately decided to reopen his recruitment and find a new home.
However, after a recent in-home visit from Beard, he is sticking with Ole Miss.
Marshall is the No. 92 overall prospect and No. 18 power forward in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. He is also the No. 2 player in Arkansas.
On3 rates Marshall higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per On3’s 2023 basketball rankings, he is the No. 72 overall prospect, No. 15 power forward and No. 1 player in Arkansas.
