The Ole Miss Rebels bring College GameDay to town for their top 25 matchup against Texas A&M. To further prepare fans, the Ole Miss social media team brought Rebels legend Cody Prewitt back for a hype video narration.

Both teams enter the week 7-2 with big wins over ranked opponents. Ole Miss is 5-0 at home this season and welcomes Texas A&M into Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Saturday at 7 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on ESPN, with College GameDay’s Kirk Herbstreit on the call with Chris Fowler.

“There comes a time in your life, when the eyes of the nation – they’re all on you. And this time, you represent something much bigger than yourself. You represent a town, a team, a state, a university. Everything off the field revolves around what you do on the field. When we win, they win. And when we party, they party. So let’s get this party started.”

More about Cody Prewitt

Before he began narrating Ole Miss hype videos, Cody Prewitt was one of Ole Miss’ best safeties. He played from 2011-2014 and helped guide the Rebels to some of their biggest moments.

Over 49 games, Prewitt recorded 247 tackles and 12 interceptions. He also finished his career with nine pass deflections and three forced fumbles, adding a pick six in his senior season.

Kirk Herbstreit on Ole Miss offense

Ole Miss star quarterback Matt Corral has been hindered by a nagging ankle injury over the previous couple of weeks. Corral’s ankle injury could play a big role in Saturday’s game against Texas A&M. The Aggies have a great defense that could pose problems for Corral and the Ole Miss offense if he isn’t 100%.

College GameDay’s Kirk Herbstreit joined SportsCenter on Saturday morning to talk about Corral and Ole Miss. The key to beating Texas A&M will be tempo, so Corral’s ability to hold up becomes even more important in this type of game.

“I think the most important thing is going to be Matt Corral’s playmaking ability as a thrower and especially, a runner,” Herbstreit said. “He’s been gimpy the last four weeks with an ankle. It looks like he’s the best that he’s been in weeks coming into this game and A&M is just a notch below Georgia as far as their defense and how physical they are at the line of scrimmage.

“So if you’re Jeff Lebby, the offensive coordinator, and Lane Kiffin, you. Have to go tempo.  You have to crank it up and go as fast you can because you know that’s going to be an equalizer.”
