Report: Purdue DE Nic Scourton plans to enter NCAA transfer portal
Purdue defensive end Nic Scouroton plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman.
As a sophomore, Scourton broke out for the Boilermakers over the course of 11 games. He finished with 50 total tackles, 33 solo tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, three pass deflections and one forced fumble.
As a member of the Class of 2022, Scourton was a four-star recruit out of Bryan (Texas) High, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 46 overall prospect in the state, the No. 35 defensive lineman in the class and the No. 291 overall prospect in the class.
