Knoxville (Tenn.) Knoxville Catholic three-star athlete Trevor Duncan has committed to his hometown school of Tennessee, announcing the news Friday on social media.

He is the second pledge of the week for the Volunteers after Greenbrier (Tenn.) three-star defensive lineman Nathan Robinson committed to the school Tuesday.

He is the No. 391 overall recruit and No. 11 player from Tennessee in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Tennessee has the 11th-ranked class in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking. The other recruits in the class are Long Beach (Calif.) Long Beach Poly five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava, Suwanee (Ga.) Collins Hill four-star tight end Ethan Davis, Mount Juliet (Tenn.) three-star interior offensive lineman Ayden Bussell, Dacula (Ga.) Hebron Christian Academy three-star safety Jack Luttrell and Franklin (Tenn.) Lipscomb Academy three-star wide receiver Nate Spillman.

Duncan currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $13.4k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
