Phenix City (Ala.) Central four-star wide receiver Cam Coleman received an offer from Tennessee Wednesday. He announced the news on Twitter.

Coleman is the No. 89 overall prospect and No. 15 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 5 player in Alabama.

On3 rates Coleman higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Coleman Is ranked as the No. 20 prospect in the country, the No. 4 wide receiver and No. 2 player in Alabama according to the 2024 On300.

The 6-foot-1.5, 185-pound Coleman holds 15 Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Auburn as the favorite to land a commitment from Coleman at 39.4%.

Coleman recently attended the Under Armour Next+ Atlanta Camp and was considered a standout among a talented field of recruits.

“The “freak” label of the wide receiver group may go to Cam Coleman (No. 20),” On3 Director of Recruiting and Scouting Charles Power wrote. “The Phenix City (Ala.) Central playmaker was the biggest riser among wide receivers in the On300 update. Coleman looks like one of the most physically-gifted skill players in the 2024 cycle.

“He is a twitchy, bouncy athlete at over 6-foot-2, 180-pounds. We saw Coleman easily separate from some top corners as a junior. He also has plus length with a 6-foot-9 wing-span. The athleticism carries over to the basketball court, where he throws down eye-popping dunks with regularity.”

Coleman currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $101K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
