Tennessee baseball coach Tony Vitello had some fun with Volunteers football coach Josh Heupel on Saturday. Vitello was seen on the sidelines dressed like Heupel, with a visor, glasses and even a mock headset.

Tennessee is hosting No. 13 Ole Miss for a conference showdown Saturday. The Rebels entered halftime with a 24-12 advantage, but Jabari Small capped off a 77-yard drive with a one-yard touchdown run to cut the deficit to five.

The game between the Rebels and Volunteers has quickly become one of the more entertaining of the evening for its off-field antics. Rebels coach Lane Kiffin kicked things off with a hilarious sideline interview in the pregame.

After Kiffin entered Knoxville to a parade of boos, he was asked how he stays calm in such a hostile environment.

“Matt Corral,” he quipped with a smile. “I got you on that one. You thought I was gonna say popcorn.”

Corral certainly does add an extra layer of comfort for his coach as one of the best quarterbacks in the country. He has 20 total touchdowns and has not thrown an interception through five games.

The No. 13 Rebels enter the game at 4-1 with their only loss of the season coming against Alabama. Their offense combined with the Volunteers, led by first-year coach Josh Heupel resulted in an over/under that surpassed 80 points ahead of the game.

So far that hasn’t come to fruition, but there was something to what Kiffin said regarding Corral. The Ole Miss quarterback was 18-of-32 for 217 yards and two touchdowns at the end of the quarter. With just 15 minutes left to play, the Rebels have a 31-19 advantage.

The Volunteers will hope that Tony Vitello can bring a bit of luck to Josh Heupel and the team. Otherwise, their next chance to come away with a victory is a road game against Alabama next Saturday.
