Tennessee is trending in the recruitment of Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Rockvale 2025 four-star safety Jaylan Morgan, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

The Volunteers lead with a 93.8% chance to receive Morgan’s commitment, per the RPM. Vanderbilt is in a distant second at 2.9%.

Morgan is the nation’s No. 162 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the cycle’s No. 12 safety and No. 5 recruit from Tennessee.

He does not currently have a publicly listed On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Tennessee building solid recruiting classes

Tennessee presently holds commitments from three prospects in the 2025 cycle in Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton three-star cornerback Shamar Arnoux, Buford (Ga.) three-star running back Justin Baker and Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton three-star cornerback Dylan Lewis.

The Vols have put together a solid 2024 class as well — ranking No. 11 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Tennessee holds pledges from 20 recruits — including two five-stars, 13 four-stars and five three-stars.

The Volunteers jumped all the way into the top 10 after a big July, which included the pledges of Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview five-star receiver Mike Matthews, Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban four-star interior offensive lineman William Satterwhite and Nashville Lipscomb Academy four-star linebacker Edwin Spillman.

Just one prospect has committed to Josh Heupel and Co. since the beginning of August, but it was a big one in Birmingham (Ala.) Vestavia Hills five-star EDGE Jordan Ross, the No. 31 recruit and No. 4 EDGE in the cycle.
