2024 4-star WR Debron Gatling taking another visit to Texas A&M
Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton four-star wide receiver Debron Gatling is visiting Texas A&M this weekend for the Aggies’ game against Miami. He announced the news over social media.
Gatling is the No. 284 overall prospect and No. 42 wide receiver in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 39 player in Georgia.
The 6-foot-2, 175 pound prospect has received 43 offers. Programs who have extended them include Alabama, Georgia, Texas and Texas A&M.
Gatling was last in College Station for an unofficial visit on July 30. He told On3’s Tim Vergese that he enjoyed his time with the Aggies and it was “probably my best visit.”
“Just the way they treated me,” he told Verghese. “The hospitality, the way the coaches were. Everything was just great all-around. There wasn’t anything I had to worry about. It was just perfect. It was just a perfect visit for real.”

Gatling already has a connection to Texas A&M. His high school teammate, former five-star defensive lineman Lebbeus Overton, is a freshman with the Aggies.
“He was just telling me [while I was on my visit] ‘I told you bro, how it was down here,’” Gatling said. “He’s been telling me how nice it was, how fun it was.”
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a close race for his commitment. Georgia currently leads for Gatling’s pledge at 20%, while Alabama is close behind at 17.5%. Ole Miss has the third-best odds at 15%.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
Gatling has an On3 NIL Valuation of $33K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
