Vancouver (Wash.) Evergreen four-star offensive tackle and Oregon commit Fox Crader is visiting Texas A&M on April 6. He announced the news over Twitter.

Crader is the No. 289 overall prospect and No. 21 offensive tackle in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 5 player in Washington.

On3 rates Crader higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 72 overall prospect, No. 9 offensive tackle and No. 1 player in Washington.

“I’m still committed to Oregon, but I want to make sure that that’s the best decision for me and my family cause at the end of the day, that’s what really matters,” Crader told On3’s Chad Simmons on March 1.

The Aggies are not the only program that the 6-foot-6, 245-pound recruit wants to visit. He is also interested in seeing OklahomaTexas, Alabama and Georgia in the coming weeks.

Georgia is one program currently standing out to Crader.

“They just won their second national championship in a row,” Crader said. “That catches your attention a little bit. They produce top draft picks very consistently, so that’s always been something that I’ve known.”

However, Crader is still feeling good about his commitment to the Ducks. He was close with former offensive line coach Adrian Klemm, who left Eugene for the same position with the New England Patriots.

Additionally, the four-star has already built a good bond with new offensive line coach A’lique Terry. He will be back in Eugene for Oregon’s spring game on April 29.

“He’s a great guy,” Crader said. “I can tell he has something special planned for the o-line and a lot of people think very highly of him. As a person, he’s great. We were chopping it up on the phone. He’s a funny guy.”

At the moment, Texas A&M’s 2024 recruiting class ranks No. 15 in the 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, as well as No. 8 in the SEC. It currently contains no offensive tackles.

Head coach Jimbo Fisher and his staff have pledges from Longview (Texas) Pine Tree four-star defensive lineman Dealyn Evans, Katy (Texas) Tompkins four-star interior offensive lineman Ashton Funk, Hattiesburg (Miss.) On3 four-star Anthony Maddox and Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton three-star wide receiver Debron Gatling.
