Three-star interior offensive lineman Nate Kibble of Humble (TX) Atascocita High announced his commitment to Texas Sunday night.

The 6-foot-3, 315 pounder chose the Longhorns over Texas A&M, LSU, and others.

Kibble on why he chose Texas

“Honestly man it’s the people,” Kibble said. “Everyone there fits my vibe and that’s from the players to the coaching staff and everyone in between. Then coach Flood, he has shown me the most love throughout this entire process.”

Relationship with coaching staff + their plan

“Man, with the coaching staff the thing that’s different is that no matter what everybody is getting to know you. From the QB coach to the DL, but I’m closest with coach Flood. He’s just shown me where he sees me going and how we are going to get there. It’s very exciting to see him trying to put me in position to play and thrive in their system.”

The Lone Star State offensive lineman joins coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns’ top 60 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by four-star running back Christian Clark, four-star wide receiver Freddie Dubose Jr., and others.

Kibble ranks as the No. 485 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 35 interior offensive lineman and the No. 82 player in the state of Texas.

He currently does not have an On3 NIL Valuation publicly listed. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
