Aledo (TX) High cornerback Jaden Allen announced his decommitment from Texas Saturday afternoon.

The 5-foot-11, 160 pounder had been committed to the Longhorns since December 2021.

Allen sent a statement to On3 regarding his decommitment:

“I will be opening my recruitment back up and decommitting from the University of Texas.”

The Lone Star State defensive back holds a total of eleven offers including LSU, USC, Alabama, and others.

Allen currently ranks as the No. 230 player in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that accounts for all four major recruiting services. He also tabs in as the No. 20 cornerback and the No. 41 player in the state of Texas.
