Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes four-star athlete Joseph Stone was offered by Texas Monday. He announced the news on Twitter.

Stone is the No. 160 overall prospect and No. 13 athlete in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 25 player in Georgia.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder has been committed to LSU since July 11.

LSU currently has eight commitments in its 2024 recruiting class and five four-star commitments. Stone is the third-highest ranked player in the class following Bellaire (Texas) Shadow Creek safety Maurice Williams and Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian Academy quarterback Colin Hurley.

Stone currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $44K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
