Texas has a big game this weekend against No. 13 Kansas State. Before the Big 12 clash, Longhorns offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Kyle Flood hit the recruiting trail.

Flood stayed in the Lone Star State on Thursday night to watch Melissa (Texas) battle Lovejoy (Texas). Melissa three-star offensive tackle Trevor Goosby is currently committed to the Longhorns.

Goosby is the No. 510 overall prospect and No. 35 offensive tackle in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 83 player in Texas.

On3 rates Goosby higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Even though he is not rated in the 2023 On300, Goosby is the No. 29 offensive tackle and No. 68 player in Texas.

Texas’ 2023 recruiting class is currently No. 7 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Rankings and No. 2 in the Big 12. The group is led by New Orleans (La.) Isidore Newman Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Arch Manning, the No. 1 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.

Goosby has an On3 NIL Valuation of $6.8K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes.
