Texas met with American Conference Defensive Player of the Year, UTSA transfer Trey Moore, per report
Texas hosted one of the top players available in the NCAA transfer portal this weekend, with UTSA‘s Trey Moore on campus, according to OrangeBloods’ Geoff Ketchum.
Moore is currently ranked as the No. 5 transfer available in the On3 Transfer Portal Rankings for 2024.
He was named the American Conference Defensive Player of the Year this year.
In his second season as a major contributor at UTSA, Trey Moore emerged as an even bigger threat off the edge, a constant thorn in the side of opposing quarterbacks. His numbers alone will get him a look from just about every major program in the country.
Moore finished the 2023 campaign with 45 tackles, 17.5 tackles for a loss, 14.0 sacks, a forced fumble, an interception and four pass breakups. His 14.0 sacks were a UTSA record.
In two years Trey Moore has 35.5 tackles for a loss and 22.0 sacks. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
