Texas forward Timmy Allen took the name “Big Dance” quite literally Saturday night following the Longhorns’ Sweet Sixteen berth. After a 71-66 victory against Penn State, Allen busted out his best moves in front of his teammates as music played in the background.

Allen eventually got his teammates to join in as Dylan Disu entered the scene and several Longhorns poured water on him in celebration. That ramped up the excitement even more as everyone began to jump around and a whistle was blown to the beat of the song. You can view the moment below.

Timmy Allen led Texas with 12 rebounds in the win and finished just one point shy of a double-double with nine. It was certainly a night worthy of celebration, as the Sweet Sixteen berth marks the first for the Longhorns since 2008 and 11th in program history.

Texas moves on to face No. 3 seed Xavier, which defeated Pittsburgh 84-73 on Sunday to move on to the second week of the NCAA Tournament. That game will take place in Kansas City, though tip time has yet to be announced.

More on Texas’ victory against Penn State to reach Sweet Sixteen

Disu led the Longhorns in the win, finishing with a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds in addition to a pair of steals. He shot 14-of-20 from the floor, setting a school record for the most field goal made in an NCAA Tournament game.

His 28 points were also the second most from any Texas player in the tournament behind only Kevin Durant.

The Longhorns led for most of the second half before Penn State took a 56-55 lead with just over five minutes remaining. But after another basket from the Nittany Lions, Disu responded with three straight buckets of his own as part of a 10-0 run to give Texas the lead for good.

Although Penn State came within three points again with just five seconds remaining, the Longhorns hit a pair of free throws to end any chance at a miracle shot to force overtime.

Other than Disu, only two Texas players finished with double figures in scoring. Sir’Jabari Rice was the next highest scorer with 13 points off the bench, while Marcus Carr added 10.

The Longhorns shot an efficient 31-of-61 (50.8%) in the win and will hope they can stay hot heading into the Sweet Sixteen. They have not made a Final Four since 2003, but with the way this season has gone, there is hope that will change.
