Bellevue (Wash.) interior offensive lineman Willi Wascher has committed to the USC Trojans, he announced on social media.

USC was one of the first programs to offer Wascher this winter.

“It was really cool, [Josh Henson] texted me if we could have a conversation and after that he explained that he loved how it looks like I love to play [football],” Wascher told WeAreSC in January. “He said I was very explosive with my hips and had good pad level.”

At the time, he had yet to visit the campus in Los Angeles.

“I know that USC is a very good academic school,” he said. “I’ve watched them on TV, but never have been out there.”

Henson, the Trojans’ offensive coordinator, started building on that relationship with Wascher.

“He talked about how he is trying to bring the program back to where it was, winning National championships. And just trying to get me and my family out there to check out the school and campus.”

USC Class Breakdown

A busy two-week span between late March and early April for Lincoln Riley and his staff now brings USC’s recruiting class to 11 total commitments. The class ranks No. 3 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

It was a successful March 24 for USC as four Trojans commitments came on that day. Manchester (Ga.) five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry started things off by flipping from in-state Georgia. He was joined by Warner Robins (Ga.) top-40 EDGE Isaiah Gibson, Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin top-70 safety Hylton Stubbs and Austin (Texas) Lake Travis defensive lineman Gus Cordova.

Carrollton (Ga.) five-star quarterback Julian Lewis is a comparatively long-time member of this USC class, having pledged to the Trojans back in August.

Since March 24, the Trojans have picked up commitments from San Clemente (Calif.) top-100 linebacker Matai Tagoa’i, Colleyville (Texas) Southlake Carroll three-star running back Riley Wormley, Baltimore City College On300 four-star receiver Romero Ison, Dinwiddie (Va.) County On300 four-star running back Harry Dalton, Chattanooga (Tenn.) Oakland three-star athlete Daune Morris and Upland (Calif.) three-star cornerback Trestin Castro.
