Bronny James did not get off to a great start during the USC Trojans‘ road game at Arizona State on Saturday.

After James and the USC team wrapped up pregame warmups, they headed for the locker room tunnel with a chorus of boo’s welcoming them to Tempe. However, when Bronny James jogged back towards the tunnel, he leapt up to tap a sign right above it but miscalculated his leap and wound up smacking his forehead against the top of the tunnel.

Take a look below at the stinger James took thanks to the tunnel:

Coming into this game vs. Arizona State, Bronny has played 10 total games so far this season for the Trojans after he was held out for a while at the beginning of the year due to health complications stemming from a collapse he suffered prior to the year.

Since joining the lineup, James has been an important rotation piece for Andy Enfield, starting two games while coming off the bench in eight others. He’s averaging just over 19 minutes per game and while putting up averages of 5.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 0.9 steals.

For more on the prominent USC hooper, here is some background info from his On3 player profile:

Bronny James has been a viral sensation for most of his life as the oldest son of NBA star LeBron James. And while Bronny has built a reputation as a top high school player in the 2023 class, he has amassed an even bigger following on social media – including racking up more than a million Instagram followers in less than 24 hours.

His name recognition and connections have made him basketball royalty before he even steps foot on a college campus. And as such, he is the most valuable high school athlete in the name, image and likeness (NIL) era.

But he’s not just a social media sensation. Bronny is also a star on the court, too. And his father says he dreams of playing with him someday.

If Bronny decides to go pro after his first season, surely a few teams would consider drafting him with the sole intention of one day getting LeBron James to come play alongside him. However, with his health concerns and a slow-developing first season, perhaps Bronny decides that he needs more than one year at the college level before making the jump to the NBA.
