A week after visiting Ohio State, Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame 2025 four-star shooting guard Bryce James was on campus at USC on Thursday for an unofficial visit, according to On3’s Joe Tipton.

James, the youngest son of NBA legend LeBron James and brother of current USC shooting guard Bronny James, is a rising junior prospect.

The 6-foot-4, 160-pounder is the nation’s No. 80 overall prospect and No. 25 shooting guard in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is rated slightly higher by On3 than other major recruiting services at No. 72 overall in the 2025 On300.

The younger James currently holds two offers from Ohio State and Duquesne but is likely to see that change in the coming year.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $1.2 million. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Bryce James Scouting Summary

“Bryce James is the son of LeBron James. Just 15 right now, he has long arms and a projectable frame – a frame you can see continuing to stretch out and add weight too. James has started to come into his own as a player over the last six months, we’ve been able to see what he can become. More of a wing than his older brother Bronny, Bryce has a smooth shooting stroke and nice length. He is getting comfortable playing off two dribbles and he moves fluidly for a wing. Still developing, still getting stronger, continue taking 3-month snap shots as he comes into his own.”
