Miami Gardens (Fla.) American Heritage wide receiver Brandon Inniss was a one-time pledge to Lincoln Riley at Oklahoma. But after Riley left for USC, Inniss re-opened his recruitment and is hearing from a number of programs.

But according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), it’s Riley and Co. who are in the pole position to bring the country’s No. 5 wide receiver to Los Angeles. The RPM is trending heavily toward the Trojans, giving them a 79.6 percent chance to land Inniss. Miami trails in second in 10.2 percent with Florida in third (2.2%).

Brandon Inniss most recently visited the Hurricanes in late January and tripped to Florida State this weekend. He’ll head to USC next weekend and is expected to see Ohio State next month. Oklahoma, the previous leader for Inniss according to the RPM, looks to be out of the race, replaced by Riley’s new squad.

“I feel like they recruited me early and after I took a visit, I felt like it was home, but it just opened my eyes even more,” Inniss recently told On3’s The Bengal Tiger. “I got to make sure I make the right decision. Coach Lincoln Riley is a great guy. His offense is one of the best offenses in the nation. Coach (Dennis) Simmons, great guy, develops their receivers.”

USC already has a pair of former Oklahoma commits in the fold with Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Malachi Nelson and wide receiver Makai Lemon. Both flipped their pledges soon after Riley took the Trojans’ job. Four-star wide receiver DeAndre Moore, a former OU pledge as well, is also trending to USC, according to the RPM. The Trojans currently have the No. 1 class in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.
