Long Beach (Calif.) Millikan four-star wide receiver Ryan Pellum has announced his commitment to USC. He chose the Trojans over Oregon.

Pellum is the No. 92 overall prospect and No. 16 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 10 player in California.

The 5-foot-11, 169-pound wideout took an official to USC on the weekend of June 16. Oregon then hosted him for an official the following weekend.

Ryan Pellum currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $110K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

USC continues it hot streak on the recruiting trail

Landing Pellum, who did not originally include the Trojans in his top 10 schools, marked a big recruiting win for head coach Lincoln Riley and his staff.

USC now has commitments from five top-100 players in Pellum, Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-year cornerback Marcelles Williams, Los Angeles (Calif.) Sierra Canyon four-star wide receiver Xavier Jordan, Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra four-star cornerback Dakoda Fields and Clearwater (Fla.) Clearwater Academy International four-star interior offensive lineman Jason Zandamela.

It has been a big month for Riley and Co., as they have added 10 players to the Trojans’ 2024 recruiting class.

They are Fields, Pellum, Williams, Zandamela, Hiram (Ga.) four-star tight end Walter Matthews, Atlanta (Ga.) Washington four-star EDGE Kameryn Fountain, Cheshire (Conn.) Cheshire Academy four-star linebacker Elijah Newby, Modesto (Calif.) Central Catholic four-star offensive tackle Manasse Itete, Clearwater (Fla.) three-star safety Jarvis Boatwright Jr. and Engelwood (Colo.) Cherry Creek three-star interior offensive lineman Hayden Treter
