USC OT Michael Tarquin enters NCAA Transfer Portal

USC offensive tackle Michael Tarquin entered the Transfer Portal, On3 has learned. He originally began his career with Florida and spent just one year in Pasadena with the Trojans.

Prior to joining USC, Tarquin enjoyed a long career at Florida, beginning in 2019, where he appeared in three games but maintained his redshirt status. He made SEC honor roll as a sophomore and even took a leap on the field, playing in 10 games at various spots on the line.

Over the next two seasons, he would emerge as a starter before eventually deciding on a change of scenery across the continental United States. In the one year out west at USC, he also started at tackle, and now will hit the transfer market again as a multi-year starter at multiple high-level college football programs.

Tarquin previously played at Citra High School in North Marion, Florida, where he was a four-star recruit, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also rated the No. 323 overall player and No. 30 offensive tackle in his cycle.
