Former Duke DL Aeneas Peebles commits to Virginia Tech
Former Duke defensive lineman Aeneas Peebles committed to Virginia Tech, according to a post on his Twitter profile.
Peebles set career highs during Year 4 at Duke this fall. He finished the year with 40 total tackles, 11 solo tackles, four sacks, two pass deflections, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
As a member of the Class of 2020, Peebles was a three-star recruit out of Knightdale (N.C.) High, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 23 overall prospect in the state, the No. 85 defensive lineman in the class and the No. 816 overall prospect in the class.
