2024 wide receiver Austin Alexander commits to Wisconsin

Hazel Crest (Ill.) Marian Catholic 2024 wide receiver Austin Alexander has committed to Wisconsin, he announced on Monday morning.

The Badgers were his only listed offer, but he also fielded interest from Illinois, Miami (Ohio) and Northern Illinois.

“I would like to thank my mom and dad for helping me get this far in football with the support of my auntie to not missing a game,” Alexander wrote on Twitter. “I would to thank all of my coaches through the years I have played and especially coach Lopez. I would also like to thank the staff of Marian. I would also like to thank my teammates for helping me get better day by day in the weight room in the classroom and the field. I would also like to thank God for helping through this whole process.”

The 6-foot-1, 165-pounder is the Badgers’ first commitment in the 2024 class.
