Transfer Portal News Of The Day December 20 - Evan Stewart Enters Portal

On Tuesday, New Mexico State cornerback Andre Seldon entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. Less than an hour later, the standout DB announced he will be visiting Wisconsin on Jan. 3.

Seldon spent the first two seasons of his college career at Michigan, appearing in just one game in his two seasons with the Wolverines before transferring to New Mexico State. In his two seasons with the Aggies, he made 28 game appearances, recording 96 tackles (4.5 for loss), 13 pass breakups, two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and a blocked kick.

Wisconsin has been hot on the recruiting trail. Luke Fickell and Co. have already added seven transfers, including two former four-stars, earning them the No. 22 class in the transfer portal thus far. Seldon would be the latest addition to an impressive group.

Seldon played high school football at Belleville (MI), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 165 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
