The Carolina Panthers have released their injury report ahead of their matchup with the Buffalo Bills.

Panthers injuries

Did Not Practice: A.J. Bouye, defensive back (foot).

He injured his foot against the Falcons on Sunday and didn’t return. If he can’t play on Sunday, it’d be a significant loss for the Panthers.

Bouye has pretty good for the Panthers in 2021. He’s been good enough to be a starting corner in the National Football League. When he was in his prime on the Jaguars, he was truly one of the league’s elite cover corners. If Josh Allen plays on Sunday, the Panthers will really miss him if he can’t be out there.

Limited Participants: D.J. Moore, wide receiver (hamstring); Michael Jordan, guard (hamstring)

Michael Jordan was ruled out of last Sunday’s game against the Falcons due to his hamstring issue. Panthers fans would like to see the offensive line get healthy, as they have used nine different offensive line combinations already throughout the season. Hamstrings can be very nagging injuries, but with a limited practice, there is a chance he plays on Sunday.

Having star receiver D.J. Moore get in a limited practice should be exciting for Panthers fans. He’s currently their biggest offensive weapon and it’s not even close. His numbers have been hurt in 2021 by the Panthers hit-and-miss quarterback play. Still, he’s found a way to shine, hauling in 72 catches for 938 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

If Bills’ quarterback Josh Allen suits up on Sunday, the Panthers will need all the offensive firepower they can get.

Full Participant: John Miller, guard (ankle), Jermaine Carter, Jr., linebacker (groin).

Miller has missed the last two games due to his ankle injury, so he’ll be a welcome addition to the Panthers starting lineup. He’ll start at right guard if he’s officially active on Sunday. Being a full participant in practice is usually a great indicator he’ll be back for the upcoming game.

Linebacker Jermaine Carter, Jr. is coming off one of his best performances of the season against the Falcons. He racked up eight tackles (three solo) and recovered a fumble in the 29-21 loss to the Falcons. Him being a full practice participant is big for the Panthers.

A lot of the game hinges on whether or not Bills quarterback Josh Allen suits up. He became one of the few quarterbacks in NFL history to throw for over 300 passing yards and rush for over 100 yards in the same game on Sunday against the Bucs. He’s one of the best quarterbacks in the game and his status coming into the game is massive.

Kickoff for the Panthers vs. Bills game is slated for Sunday at 1:00 PM ET in Buffalo.
